A renowned major player within the power sector who offer services to developers, utilities, process facilities and governments. They have existing strong relationships with clients and have a full order book for the foreseeable future.
Due to an increased upturn in business within cable design they now seek to recruit an experienced individual with an electrical cable design background in HV (132kV-400kV). Projects you will be involved with will be for major cables, transmission & distribution, cable connections for wind farms and offshore cabling. The projects are both in the UK and overseas.
This is a fantastic career opportunity to build your own team, be involved with tendering, winning work and establishing the cable design department in the UK for this international business.
You will need the following skills:
- Have an Electrical Engineering degree
- Have experience of cable design from an electrical perspective
- Have worked for either a consultancy or contractor
- Previous management experience
- The desire to build a team
It would also be beneficial if you have HVDC or offshore AC/DC experience but not essential.
Circa £45,000 to £55,000 plus benefits
