Infrastructure maintenance support services firm Enterprise has been awarded a contract to maintain and renew power supply systems on the London Underground as a part of the Metropolitan line upgrade.
The company, which announced the win to the London Stock Exchange this morning, did not put a value on the win but confirmed the project to improve the power systems on the line would begin next month.
It said the job would create work for more than 100 skilled operatives and staff.
The work is an early step in the process of increasing the capacity of the trains on the network.
