The Russian Security Service has charged two brothers, who are joint Russia-U.S. citizens, with commercial espionage. One of the Zaslavsky brothers works for TNK-BP, while the other is a member of a British Council's alumni club. They have allegedly acquired classified information on Russian oil and gas companies for foreign firms. - Russsia Today

Millions of householders face a £105 increase on their annual energy bills price as utility companies introduce further rises, market experts warned yesterday.
All six major providers have put up their prices by an average of 15 per cent over the last three months. A further 10 per cent increase is predicted by the end of the year if oil and gas prices rise as expected. - The Daily Telegraph
The German Reichstag is expected to become the greenest parliament building in the world, thanks to a decision to rely solely on renewable energy.
From late summer the building is due to swap to green power sources such as water, wind and solar energy, replacing the conventional power that it has largely relied upon until now. - The Guardian
